Linseed oil/Linseed soap

Among other things, we use raw cold-pressed linseed oil to impregnate wood before painting, because it has a very good ability to soak into the wood and protect against water penetration. The raw cold-pressed linseed oil is also very suitable for the production of linseed oil putty and soap.

We use the boiled, oxidized linseed oil instead for linseed oil paint, linseed oil wax and Linus wall paint. It can also be used to dilute linseed oil paint. The boiled linseed oil is also very good for maintaining surfaces painted with linseed oil paint.
