We recommend that you use raw linseed oil mainly to store the brush in between paintings.
It can hang in a jar of raw linseed oil for a year if needed. Then you don't need to wash as often.
Linen is a renewable raw material and is grown in Sweden. The ripe linseed is pressed without heating. The oil is then skimmed and filtered to obtain a sterile product without impurities. Linseed oil has a very good penetration ability in wood. Avoid solvents. Spread the oil on the wooden surface. Use hot air gun alt. also to heat the oil in the wood or heat the oil to 60 degrees - finger warm - and spread over the surface if you need to paint within the same day. The oil must be well bound in the wood before overpainting.
