Boiled linseed oil
Boiled linseed oil
During window renovation, the sash may feel dry after all the sanding is done.
Oil on with boiled linseed oil before glazing. If after a short time the surface looks dull after oiling, add a little more oil.
Allow the oil to soak into the wood for at least 1 hour before wiping off the excess. NOTE! Don't forget to soak the cloth or paper you wipe with, as it is flammable!
The boiled linseed oil also works well to dilute the first coat with if necessary, but not more than 5%.
Refined Swedish cold-pressed linseed oil. Skimmed and filtered. The linseed oil is made from raw material grown in Sweden. The oil was used as surface protection on unpainted wood, varnished or painted surfaces. The oil is easy to apply with a sponge or brush. The surface must be clean and dry.
